LOCATION, TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
This list is meant as a resource for participants attending the training. Any services included on the list does not indicate endorsement by EAGALA EMEA and it cannot guarantee quality or reliability for any of the services. It is up to the participant to research services for quality and reliability. EAGALA EMEA recommends that participants take out insurance to cover travel & accommodation costs in the event of personal change in circumstances that prevent attendance or course cancellation.

The arena is about 4km from the town of Leknes. From the town you can see a church (Hol kiore) on a hill to the south west. A useful website gives information, pictures and maps about the church in Norwegian / English.

The arena is beside the church. When you drive up the track to the church drive round to the left, past it and go down to the arena. Park outside it. Please do not park up at the church and stables on the top of the hill. Thanks.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

Travel to Leknes is by plane, by road from the north or by ferry.

Plane

Many airlines fly to Norway. Mostly to Oslo. Be careful - the budget airlines fly to an airport 2 hours south of Oslo but call it Oslo! Good bus and train connections to Oslo International Airport. From Oslo and other cities / towns in Norway fly to Bodø.

Ferries & Express Boats

From Bodø to Moskenes (and other ports on the Lofoten Islands). Then by bus to Leknes.
